Vacation in the beautiful Yucatan in the comfort of our spacious, fully equipped beach house on the Gulf of Mexico.
|
Have you visited the Yucatan yet?
There really isn't anywhere else in the world
like it. The warmth and old-world charm of
this unspoiled region of Mexico will make
you want to return again and again. We offer
a large, private home on a serene and quiet
white sand beach, on the warm and
turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
You will be near the beautiful colonial city of
Mérida, the business capital of the Yucatan,
where there are wide, palm tree-lined
avenues, horse-drawn carriages, mansions
and museums. The shopping is fabulous
and there are countless restaurants catering
to every taste and price range. For those
who can't live without a taste of home, there
is TGIF and Applebees, Home Depot and
Costco.
Beachfront Home for Rent
We offer the rental of our beautiful, beach-front home
year-round. It has a fully equipped kitchen and all linens are
provided. You'll have your own oceanfront pool, and our
property manager is just a phone call away. Shopping,
cooking and/or maid service can be arranged if you wish for a
small extra charge.
Come and experience the true nature of Mexico's natural
beauty, where you can swim in the warm and lovely Gulf waters
every day, visit and snorkel a sparkling cenote gleaming with
colourful fish, shop a local market, or surf-fish in the shallow
waters directly in front of your beach house. In summer, the
sea-turtles make their way onto the beach to lay eggs in the
hot sand. The winds blowing from the Gulf have made this
area famous for fantastic windsurfing, too.
The beach is wide, white and perfect for walking,
shell-collecting, or throwing a football, baseball or
frisbee. It's also private enough that you are
certain to find shells worthy of collecting each
time you go for a walk.
The swimming is perfect, with gentle or no surf
and sandy bottom as far out as you care to walk.
It's very much like Wasaga Beach - shallow
almost forever. (This is why it's near the world's
longest pier - it has to be seven kilometers long
to go deep enough for the cruise ships to dock!)
Below is the view of the beach in both directions,
taken from the front of the house.
You'll watch some of the most
beautiful sunrises and sunsets of
your lifetime from the front deck
or the back terrazza while you
listen to the waves.

beach house vacation rental in Mexico
Just a half-hour drive north on a well-maintained highway you come to the Gulf Coast and Progreso, which is flanked to the
west and east by sleepy fishing villages. Progreso is a bustling port town where you will find authentic markets, wonderful
restaurants, and stores offering all the services you could want. When the cruise ships come in, the Malecon, Progreso's
waterfront boardwalk, is lined with vendors. You will likely enjoy several dinners watching the sunset from one of the Malecon's
charming restaurants, then drive twenty minutes home along the coastal highway to your beach house.
